It doesn’t get more classy than the Fragment Design x Converse Jack Purcell Modern Black. Legendary designer Hiroshi Fujiwara joins Converse yet again for a highly refined collaboration.This time around, it’s the iconic and low-profile lines of the Jack Purcell which provides the blank canvas for this stylish transformation. The ‘Modern’ aspect arrives in the form of a sheer cut upper which places all the emphasis on premium grain leather.As with most Fragment releases, this shoe is all about simplicity matched with subtle style cues. The tox box is slightly exaggerated but the classic shape of the Jack Purcell remains mostly untouched.A full black colourway sweeps across the entire shoe hitting not only the laces but the inner lining and branding. The only contrast comes in the form of the stitching as well as the midsole underfoot.
